Meyer’s voice is mutable, able to delve into the interconnectedness of our relationship with the physical and spiritual, creating a truly inspiring window on life around us. To record that experience with passion and crafted detail is to transform the transitory into poetry.

"To remember to remember all things – gods, the natural world, and human and animal life – in their witnessing of time, is the great aspiration of poetry. Bruce Meyer’s poems have this compass, and are secure in their voices, both formal and wild. The reward is poetry of real sweetness and depth. The mind and skill at work here are a pleasure to find." –Marilyn Bowering, award-winning poet, novelist and playwright
