Harry Somers was one of the leading composers in Canada. The Kyrie, performed on the national network, is among his most important works. Mr. Somers’ manuscripts are works of calligraphic beauty in themselves and reproduced in this small volume is the completed performance text of the Kyrie in the composer’s own hand.
