White Lies and Other Fictions<\/em> was Se\u00e1n Virgo\u2019s first collection of short stories. Published in 1981, it received critical acclaim on both sides of the Atlantic. Since then, Se\u00e1n Virgo has\u00a0published two more collections of stories, Through the Eyes of a Cat<\/em> and, most recently, Wormwood<\/em>, as well as his novel, Selakhi<\/em>. This reissue of White Lies and Other Fictions<\/em> includes the two Home and Native Land stories, omitted from the first edition for contractual reasons.<\/p>\n
